**JYC 2011 FINISHED**

*YIKES! its been like a trillion days since I last blogged! (guess what I'm making as one of my new years resolutions?) But I am back with one almighty post which beware *has many many photos!*

I have really enjoyed this years JYC because I decided just to use my camera apps to take the pic's (except Christmas day) and then have had them printed off in one go, using post-its as reminders as what photo goes where. It has really worked well! In past years I have felt that I have to have a photo on every page but now I am content with my own journalling and hand made embellishments x

I used an AC 6x6 album in Lime, which I have yet to decorate. So I have tried to combine some of the pics to make it easier to see, hope you like...

*The Tuesday Post*

So it's only day two of half term and already I feel myself wishing the week away! It started (like many weeks) with great intensions of doing some fab things with Taye, but not many great adventures have been made yet!

So, I finished both these pages at the weekend (I think, it already feels ages ago :) This first one is a LO that I haven't used a sketch for! Can't remember the last time I created something all by myself, go me!
me and my taller but younger sister x
The paper girls, are from some Paperchase wrapping paper that I have cut into...
This page was based on Shimelle's starting point and I really like the collected feel to the page! I wanted it to have more dimension to it than my other pages have..love the 3D hearts!
thats all folks x see you soon x

**The 100th Blog Post!!!**

Yay, I have finally reached my 100th post!! very exciting, but beware of this picture heavy post!
I have a couple things to share with you. This first LO was from Shimelle's 'starting point' that I played along but was a little bit late to enter but I still really like how it has turned out...
I used some acrylic paint and a Hipsta print taken in the summer! and lots of adhesive pearls
I love my new fiskars scalloped edge punch so much, that I am using it on practically every project at the moment..
My second page is Shimelle's SOTW which you can find here. Not totally sure if this LO looks completely finished to me and if I actually like it but perhaps if I leave it for a while and come back to it I might be able to realise what's missing
Maybe I need to add a few more embellies?
Oh and this is a special sneak at some little hand embroidery pieces that I have been working on recently, I will be selling them at a craft fayre in december.
If you have reached the bottom of this post, thank you so much!!! I will be creating some more layouts this week so will be back here again to show you! yay!! xxx

*Half Page Challenge*

Here is my Lo for Shimelle's 'Half Page' challenge. The challenge was to create a page where you only used half of the page (obvs!) I didn't think that I would be able to control my 'need' to spread pretty things all over the page, but I resisted and kept within the challenge guidelines!
On a recent trip to London, we discovered a funky shop called 'SNOG' that sold the yummiest frozen yogurt with your own choice of toppings! Lush x
This is the last of Shimelle's challenges that I have already completed, but I'm hoping that I will have time to do a couple more before Sunday

*Shimelle's Challenge 1*

Morning! Happy Saturday to you all. Just had enough time this morning to complete this challenge from Shimelle's online crop weekend!
I have adjusted this LO a little, as I couldn't decide on a sheet of patterned paper for the background, so just used white stitch lines to fill the gap!
Hopefully I will have enough time to complete some of the other challenges x

*June 2011 Documented*

Another month has been and gone, which leaves me to update you with my June Document 11 pages! I think that I am getting a bit lazy when it comes to the focus page for the month as I have been 'recycling' pages from other projects such as SOTW! Is that cheating? Anyway here is my focus page which you can see in more detail in this post.

So that makes this my sunny collected page which i think is currently winning the 'most crammed pocket' award, but hey, I've only documented half of the year so far so other months could still claim that prize! lol
..This is one side of my divided pages, using the landscape ones for this month as that was what most of June's photos were!
This is the other side, with photo's about me PASSING my driving test (2nd time lucky) and from a shared birthday party that I organised! we had so much fun dressing up as different superhero's and film stars!!!!
Woop! 6 months documented, 6 more to go, see you soon to share August!

*a little of Explore*

So, I'm a bit late sharing with you guys, but here is week one from Shimelle's online class *Explore* which I am really loving btw!
Week 1- Adventure! Prompt one was to take a self portrait and then write a little 'note to self' which I loved doing, I have kept mine a little private by writing it on a tag (inside the Kraft envelope)
These are some pics from the map/postcard prompts, although having said that, the picture of the postcard is missing! Oopps!

A list of my Perfect things! I wrote down things from 1-10 but wrote down number 9 twice so I just added a 10.5 to the end!
At the end of the week, we were challenged to make a 12x12 LO using all the thoughts/techniques that we had learnt throughout the week. I based mine on life's little adventures and made nine circle embellishments which was a project from the week.
I wasn't sure of the colours, but I love them now x
This page is my 'write on a photo' page which I think looks cute with the star and puffy sticker!
I'll post some more pages from this project soon x Jenna x
